Dan Kurland is a senior analyst in the Central Research team at Columbia Threadneedle Investments and is responsible for the healthcare infrastructure vertical. He joined Columbia Threadneedle Investments in 2015 as an associate analyst working primarily with the consumer and financial analysts. Previously, he was an analyst at Balestra Capital, an associate portfolio manager at Corby Asset Management and an associate analyst at Merrill Lynch. He has been a member of the finance industry since 2006.  He received a B.A. in economics from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the University of Chicago. In addition, he holds the CFA^® designation.
