Frank Coughlin is head of U.S. equity research at Columbia Threadneedle Investments covering the medical technology and hospital supply industries. He joined Columbia Threadneedle in 2021. Prior to this role, Frank was with Eaton Vance, where he covered healthcare for all growth funds as well as a dedicated healthcare fund. Before that, he worked on the U.S. equity trading desk for Bank of America Merrill Lynch. He has been a member of the investment community since 2011. Frank received a B.A. in English magna cum laude from Colgate University, and an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
