5 Things to Remember About Tech Fund Investing

  1. Choose a proven manager - look for a tech manager with a well-established track record.

  3. Expect volatility - it is inherent in the pricing of most tech stocks, due to their dynamic nature.


  4. Make sure you have ample liquidity through other investments - a forced sale of all or a portion of your technology allocation in a market downturn can be disadvantageous.

Adopt a disciplined strategy - choose one that systematically builds a position and use the inherent volatility of technology stocks to lower average cost per share, though there can be no assurances that using such a strategy will be successful or will protect an investment against a loss in value.
