About the 2009 RiverSource/Seligman fund mergers
In January 2009, RiverSource Investments announced several mutual fund mergers designed to improve our fund offerings. The mergers include both RiverSource® and Seligman® funds. Because of the large number of funds scheduled to be merged there were four fund merger events. All four merger events have now been successfully completed.
Fund Mergers
The fourth merger event took place at the close of business day Sept. 11. The acquiring funds will be available for trading at the beginning of the business day on Sept 14. The chart below shows the funds that were merged:
