Seligman LaSalle Global Real Estate Fund will not pay a semiannual distribution to shareholders in December 2008. Due to capital losses, the Fund estimates that it has no investment income from which to pay a dividend.
Shareholders will be sent a Form 1099 DIV in early 2009 providing the information needed to complete the 2008 federal income tax return. Previous sources of 2008 distribution amounts for tax reporting purposes may be subject to change and may include a return of capital. The amount of the Fund’s total distributions that will be taxable as ordinary income may differ from the amount of distributions from net investment income made throughout 2008.
